My name is Mariska Veehof. I started Autishop in September 2017, after I took over Allesrondomautisme.nl from Edwin van Kordelaar. I live in Goor with my husband Jeroen and our three sons Danny, Milan and Brian. Two of our children are diagnosed with Autism.
Why started Autishop?
I was working as a nanny for three children, I took care of them with great pleasure. Thanks to this shelter, I could always be home for our boys. Last year I was looking for a new challenge, where I could combine home and work, and a field with which I have an affinity. For this reason I started Autishop.
A lot of work has been done
Over the past period I have worked hard together with Jeroen on our new webshop. I work full time with the Autishop, Jeroen about 1 day a week. Our tasks are divided as follows: I am responsible for purchasing, sales and customer contacts. Jeroen developed the webshop and automates processes so that we can work faster and more effectively.
Of course, the foundation had already been laid with Allesrondomautisme.nl, a store that had been around for several years. Nevertheless, with our new site we have considerably expanded the range and invested a lot in new products. Many new and existing customers have found us, several orders have been placed. We are very grateful to them for this!
Since 2025, our team has been strengthened by Bas Kamphuis. He is responsible for our marketing and content. Bas also has a passion for programming and is making Autishop even faster and more user-friendly.
Reliable and professional
What gives me satisfaction is being able to offer the products, of which I myself have tested the effectiveness with our children and customers, in the Autishop. I especially like the personal contact with our customers. Private individuals, healthcare providers and educators ask for advice on various issues. I was usually able to help them with a suitable solution!
Objective
We aim to further grow into a supplier with an even wider range for private individuals, schools and institutions. Based on trust, personal contact and professional advice, we see the future positively.
